![]() I'd also like to be able to configure FS's instrument panel (and by extension, the wind screen) such that it's at a more realistic distance away. You need to be able to lean in towards the gauges.īut straight orientation tracking beats using a controller stick for virtual cockpit viewing, though.Īnd it sure would be nice to be able to get Vireio configured properly, 3D wise. The thing is, though, that without positional tracking (as provided by TrackIR), it's very difficult - neh, impossible - to read the instrument panel. My problem so far is getting Virieo in a state that Dirt2 is enjoyable to play, the headtracking works pretty much perfectly. This means that things with freetrack support (a lot of TrackIR games, eg Dirt2, 3 and Wings of Prey I've tested work so far) or the various other output interfaces it supports, have Rift tracker support just by running FTNOIR. I have added Rift tracker support to the FaceTrackNoIR project (it'll be in the 1.8 release, you can build for source or bug me for a prerelease build).
